Noah Stride
Hey! I'm Noah, a software engineer based in London, UK. Welcome to my corner of the internet!
π¨βπ» Work
For the last four years or so, I've worked for a company called Teleport where I lead the Machine & Workload Identity team. My team builds helps organisations give identities to machines & workloads that remove the need for long-lived secrets!
Outside of my role at Teleport, I'm a member of SPIFFE's Steering Committee and a maintainer of the SPIFFE specifications. SPIFFE (the Secure Production Identity Framework for Everyone) is a set of open standards for securely identifying software systems in dynamic and heterogeneous environments.
I've been gainfully employed as a software engineer since 2016 and since then I've worked for a variety of startups. Over time, my focus has been drawn to distributed systems & infrastructure. I consider myself a pretty product-oriented engineer - I'm primarily driven by solving problems for my customers.
For all the details, check out my CV.
β¨ Life
I'll be the first to admit that I'm a bit of a geek and that extends to my hobbies - whether it's screwing around in my homelab or bouncing off the ionosphere as M9OTT.
But life isn't all about technology! I'm a huge music fiend and you'll pretty much always find me listening to something. In the summer, I love to get out running and in the winter, you'll see me out skiing on the slopes.

π° Want to hire me?
I'm not actively looking for new opportunities. That being said, I'm open to conversations if you:
- Are part of the company that's hiring (no recruitment agencies please!)
- Can provide details of the compensation package upfront
- Won't make me complete "competitive coding challenges" a la HackerRank
- Support remote work
- Are not in the business of manufacturing weapons, shilling crypto or lending money predatorily (etc.)
- Value employees who take a high level of ownership and trust them to make decisions
- Most importantly, do something exciting that makes the world better!
If that sounds like you, I'd welcome an email to [email protected]
